Welcome to the 2024 Spring Development Program Registration with Chicago Blues Hockey Club!
The Chicago Blues Hockey Club was founded in 1996 and has become one of the premier Tier II travel hockey programs in the United States. Our head coaches work hand-in-hand with our directors to create the ultimate youth hockey experience.
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.
Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.
To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.
USA Hockey Requirement
Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2023-2024 Season.
- Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
- Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
HERE’S WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SEASON FEES:
- Instruction at every level from both a professional hockey director and coach
- 16 high-energy skills and game sessions beginning April 1st
- Top Flight Goalie Instruction
- Advanced Skill Development Curriculum
- Tournament Teams - an additional Tournament fee is required for players who are selected
- 3 Checking Clinics for rising Bantam players ($50 fee not included in registration fee)
- Blues Practice jersey
OPPORTUNITY TO REGISTER FOR CHECKING CLINICS
All first-year Bantams (2011 birth year), including goalies, are required to attend a mandatory series of three checking clinics run by the Chicago Blues Hockey Directors prior to the start of the Spring 2024 program or the Fall 2024-2025 hockey season. 2010 birth year players are also encouraged to attend.
The fee is $50
- Tuesday, March 12 @ 6:30 - 7:30 pm (The Edge: East Rink)
- Tuesday, March 12 @ 7:40 - 8:10 pm (Video Session, Blues Room)
- Wednesday, March 13 @ 6:30- 7:30 pm (The Edge: East Rink)
- Thursday, March 14 @ 6:30 - 7:30 pm (The Edge: East Rink)

Mandatory Online Payments
The entire spring session fees are payable online during this registration session.
NO REFUNDS ARE PERMITTED unless a player is not placed on a team.
USA Hockey Insurance Requirement
The Chicago Blues Hockey Club requires USA Hockey proof of insurance prior to tryouts. Please be sure to registered with your current confirmation number. If your child played during the winter 2023-24 season they are insured through August 31, 2024. If the player is playing for the first time in more than a year, prior to tryouts starting on March 19th, you will need to register with USA Hockey for the 2023-24 season and show proof at the first tryout.
NO ONE will be allowed on the ice without proof of USA Hockey insurance.
